If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HouseOffBarber.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Your use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

HouseOffBarber is a free booking and scheduling platform designed specifically for barbers, barbershops, and salons. Our mission is to provide powerful yet simple tools that help professionals manage their business and help clients find and book appointments with ease.

The platform includes the following core features:

  • Booking management — A streamlined system that allows clients to discover and book appointments with barbers and salons directly through the platform.
  • Automated reminders — SMS and email notifications sent to both clients and barbers to reduce no-shows and keep everyone informed.
  • Calendar management — Tools for barbers to manage their availability, set working hours, and organize their daily schedule.
  • Analytics and insights — Business dashboards that provide data on bookings, revenue, client retention, and other key performance metrics.
  • Client management — A built-in CRM that helps barbers track client preferences, appointment history, and notes.
  • Mobile applications — Native apps for iOS and Android that provide full platform functionality on the go.

We are continually improving and expanding our services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of HouseOffBarber, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account details up to date.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

HouseOffBarber offers two types of accounts:

  • Business accounts — Designed for barbers, barbershops, and salons. Business accounts provide access to scheduling tools, analytics, client management, and all professional features of the platform.
  • Client accounts — Designed for individuals who want to discover barbers, book appointments, and manage their booking history.

You are responsible for notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. HouseOffBarber will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use HouseOffBarber in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. The platform is intended to connect barbers with clients in a professional environment, and we expect all users to uphold that standard.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Providing false information — Creating accounts with fake identities, misleading business details, or inaccurate service descriptions.
  • Harassment or abuse — Engaging in threatening, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward any other user of the platform.
  • Unauthorized access — Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data that do not belong to you, or bypassing any security measures.
  • Spam or unsolicited communications — Using the platform to send bulk messages, advertisements, or promotional content without consent.
  • Illegal content — Uploading, sharing, or distributing any content that violates local, state, or federal laws.
  • Impersonation — Pretending to be another person, business, or entity, or falsely claiming an affiliation with any party.
  • Service interference — Taking any action that disrupts, overloads, or impairs the functionality of the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Scraping or data extraction — Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to collect data from the platform without written permission.
  • Violating others' rights — Infringing on the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent termination, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

5. Booking and Appointments

HouseOffBarber serves as a platform to facilitate bookings between clients and barbers or salons. While we provide the tools to make scheduling seamless, the appointment itself is an arrangement between the client and the service provider.

Client obligations: When you book an appointment, you are making a commitment to the barber or salon. You are expected to show up on time or cancel within a reasonable timeframe as specified by the service provider. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in restrictions on your ability to book future appointments.

Provider obligations: Barbers and salons are expected to honor all confirmed bookings. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify the client as early as possible through the platform. Consistent failure to honor bookings may result in account review or removal from the platform.

Cancellations and no-shows: HouseOffBarber provides tools to manage cancellations and no-show policies, but we are not a party to any individual booking arrangement. We are not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages that arise between clients and service providers regarding missed, cancelled, or unsatisfactory appointments. We encourage both parties to communicate directly and resolve any issues in good faith.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on HouseOffBarber — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design of the platform — are the exclusive property of HouseOffBarber and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The HouseOffBarber name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of HouseOffBarber. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for its intended purpose. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of the platform or its content.

Content you upload to HouseOffBarber — such as profile photos, business descriptions, or portfolio images — remains your property. However, by uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and promote the platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

HouseOffBarber is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content or information available through the platform.

We do not warrant the quality of any services provided by barbers or salons listed on the platform. HouseOffBarber is a booking tool — we do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any service provider. Your interactions with barbers and salons are at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HouseOffBarber and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to HouseOffBarber in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HouseOffBarber, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your infringement of any rights of another party.

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these terms. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note that certain information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the platform will cease immediately. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

Any legal action or proceeding relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located within the United States. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the venue of such proceedings.
